Haha! I wish! If only I could have backyard chickens. Alas, I have to suffice with the rooted variety.

I can’t wait to find interesting little nooks and crannies to stuff these guys into. I planted some last year among the huge bank of armour stone we have around the front yard, but they were singletons and haven’t yet spread their wings. These little bunches will have a head start in propagating themselves. I adore swaths of established hen and chicks. I don’t have much in the way of porous stones, which they do really well in, but I have lots of random crevices that could make good homes for these. We also have a couple old rotting tree stumps in the backyard, where they could do well.

I have to stop myself from buying them all.
